World Breastfeeding Week - 2017 KatieLew Photography Stillwater, OK
Every year August 1st-7th is considered World Breastfeeding Week. If you want to learn more about it, here's their website: http://worldbreastfeedingweek.org/. I love getting mamas together to celebrate this amazing time in their lives as they breastfeed their first, middle, or last child. Breastfeeding has always held a special place in my heart, and I love documenting this special times for these beautiful mamas. This year for WBW, we got together and got a little wet and also maybe a little muddy. But we had fun doing it!
This week here at KLP, I'm going to highlight one mama and her story every day. I'm really excited to share the stories from all of these amazing women. Make sure you check back every day to read all the different stories. For my first blog post, I thought I would share some shots from our shoot on Saturday. These women are amazing! Let me tell you! They were troopers. This lake was way muddier than I had originally thought it would be, and so my plans had to change last minute. But not one of these mamas batted an eye! I'm so grateful for them. I've had the vision to do a water breastfeeding shoot for so long, and they all helped me bring it to fruition. Thank you mamas!!
Without further ado, here are the sneaks from our water shoot:
